The Dual H-Bridge Driver Module is based on the ST L298N, a dual full-bridge motor driver IC packaged in Multiwatt-15 and PowerSO20 formats. It is designed for high-voltage and high-current applications and supports standard TTL logic levels, making it suitable for driving DC motors, stepper motors, relays, and solenoids.

The module features two independent enable inputs, allowing each bridge to be activated or disabled separately, regardless of the control inputs. The emitters of the lower transistors in each bridge are internally connected and brought out to external terminals, enabling the use of an external current-sensing resistor. A dedicated logic power input is also included, allowing the control circuitry to operate at a lower voltage than the motor supply.
