Sound Sensor Module (LM393 with Microphone)

Features:

• Uses LM393 comparator with a polarized microphone
• Operating voltage: DC 4–6 V
• Onboard signal indicator LED
• Single digital output channel
• Output signal is LOW level when sound is detected
• When sound is present, the LED turns on and the output goes LOW

Applications:

• Voice-activated lighting
• Sound-and-light alarm systems (when combined with a light sensor)
• Voice control projects
• General sound detection applications

Arduino Connection:

• Connect +5V to Arduino 5V
• Connect GND to Arduino GND
• Connect OUT to Arduino digital pin 2
